With the proposed final rule having updated requirements to the Facility Assessment, it is important to understand what the Facility Assessment is and make sure yours is comprehensive. Facility Assessments should be updated as your facility changes and AT LEAST ANNUALLY.
We have found that many of our clients haven't updated their facility assessment in a very long time, and some had no complete Facility Assessment at all.
We will also be releasing a CE offering for Nurses and Nursing Home
Administrators at the end of October, which will include template tools and many in-depth drill-downs to assist in completing and updating your assessment.
